PivotWest upgrades to ChilliDB
PivotWest (formerly known as Western Melbourne Division of General Practice) provides support and services for and on behalf of general practitioners. They aim to assist GPs to continue to deliver quality care and outcomes to the people of Western Melbourne. Care is taken to focus on the health and well being of GPs as well as providing opportunities to improve their professional skills and knowledge. Their services include:
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for members.
- Representing their GP members and present a GP perspective on numerous committees, working parties, reference groups and at other forums, at the local, regional, state and federal levels.
- Acting as a reference point for their members and for other health organisations wishing to contact local GPSs.
- Acting as a source of information about developments in medical practice, health service delivery and public health in general.
